Privacy Policy
Effective: June 27, 2026
Orchard (“Orchard,” “we,” “us”) provides agentic cloud backend services — file storage, a database, authentication, email, and deployment — that developers add to their projects by asking their AI coding agent (such as Cursor, Claude, or Codex) in plain language, through the Orchard MCP server and dashboard (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.
- Service content. The content you create through Orchard — files you upload (Storage), records you save (Database), end-user accounts you set up (Authentication), emails you send (Email), and sites you deploy (Deploy).
- Usage data. Metrics such as storage used, uploads and changes, and views and downloads — used to power your dashboard and estimate cost.
- Technical data. Basic log and device information needed to operate and secure the Services.
2. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Services.
- Authenticate you and protect your account.
- Measure usage and estimate your cost.
- Provide support and send service-related communications.
- Improve and develop the Services.
3. How we share information
We use trusted third-party providers to operate Orchard, and they process data on our behalf to provide the Services. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active and delete it when it’s no longer needed to provide the Services. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, the UK, or California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
7. Children
Orchard is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the effective date above.
